Tradara is a browser-based futures trading terminal. Charting, market depth, order entry, position tracking, account rules, and multi-account copy trading all live in one workspace, so you are not switching between a charting tool and a separate execution platform.
You trade in a trading account that a firm assigns to your Tradara identity. Tradara is the platform you trade through; it does not sell you an account or an evaluation. Account types include Eval, Practice, Trial, Sim funded, Live funded, and Live, so the same terminal covers practice, evaluation, and real-money trading.
The terminal is a grid of widgets you arrange yourself. The default Swing layout opens a chart, Watchlist, News, and Order Ticket, with tabs for Positions, Open Orders, Order History, Trades, and Trade Copier.
You can add widgets from + Add, split regions with a Matrix, stack widgets in a Tabbed section, and save named layouts. Layouts can be reset to a built-in preset, exported as JSON, or shared with a code. Widgets can be tied together on a symbol channel so changing the instrument in one moves the others with it.
If a tool described here is missing from your screen, it may simply not be in your current layout — open + Add to place it.
Tool | What it gives you |
|---|---|
Chart | Candles and other chart types, multiple timeframes, indicators, drawing and measurement tools, price alerts, and chart snapshots. A workspace supports up to 18 charts. |
DOM | A Level II depth ladder with resting size at each price, price grouping, and order controls. |
Time & Sales | The live executed-trade tape with size filters and aggressor-side coloring. |
Watchlist | Tracked symbols with configurable columns that can drive the rest of the workspace. |
News | Real-time headlines, filtered by the linked symbol or by group. |
Script Studio | Write, compile, and save custom TradaraScript studies, then add them to a chart. |
Submit orders from the Order Ticket, directly from the chart, or from the DOM ladder. Supported order types include market, limit, and stop, with linked profit targets and stop losses so protection is attached to the position rather than tracked by hand.
Once you are in a trade, Positions, Open Orders, Order History, and Trades show open risk, working orders, final order states with rejection reasons, and completed trades with gross P&L, commissions, fees, and net P&L. You can modify, cancel, flatten, or reverse from labeled controls, and keyboard shortcuts are available for faster execution.
Trade Copier replicates activity from one leader account to follower accounts inside a copy group. Each follower has its own whole-number multiplier, so accounts of different sizes can follow the same leader without you sizing each one manually.
The same surface carries the risk controls: daily profit and loss limits, bulk risk values applied across a selection, and lockouts that stop an account from taking further copied activity. Copying does not override the rules attached to each account, and it does not guarantee that every follower receives the same order type, brackets, or result.
Because most Tradara accounts come from a firm, the terminal surfaces the rules that decide whether an account can keep trading. Accounts shows balance, equity, open and day P&L, and, on evaluation accounts, the Profit Target and progress toward it. Daily loss, maximum loss, and trailing drawdown are shown alongside account status so you can see how much room is left before a limit is reached.
Firms set those rules on the accounts they assign, including position and session limits. Tradara displays them; it does not waive them.
Tradara is built for futures traders, and it fits best if you recognize yourself in one of these:
Prop firm and evaluation traders. You trade a firm-assigned account and need constant visibility into profit targets, daily loss, maximum loss, and trailing drawdown while you trade.
Multi-account traders. You run several accounts and want one entry replicated across them with per-account sizing and independent risk limits.
Active intraday traders. You work from depth and the tape, want to trade from the chart or ladder, and care about keyboard-speed order handling.
Traders who want one tool. You would rather analyze and execute in the same window than pay for a charting package and an execution platform separately.
Traders who build their own studies. You want custom indicators without leaving the terminal.
It is a poorer fit if you are looking to trade products other than futures, want a platform that issues its own funded accounts, or need an offline desktop install rather than a browser terminal.
Three things are separate, and all three matter:
A Tradara identity. You register and verify an email address.
Market data. You complete an exchange-required profile, declare whether you are a non-professional or professional subscriber, and sign the displayed agreement.
A trading account. A firm assigns one to your identity, sometimes after you accept a firm invitation.
Signing in does not grant quotes, and market-data access does not create a trading account. If Accounts shows No accounts available., no trading account has been assigned yet — accept any pending firm invitation, then contact the firm. If charts and quotes stay empty, reopen Market data setup and read which step it is waiting on. Traders who declared professional subscriber status need Tradara staff approval before market data activates.
Trading futures carries real financial risk. Nothing in Tradara is a recommendation to take a trade, and the platform does not promise fills, prices, slippage, uptime, or payouts.
Eval, Practice, Trial, and Sim funded accounts are simulated. Results there do not predict evaluation outcomes, payouts, or live performance, and they do not remove the risk you take on a Live or Live funded account later.
Tradara runs in the browser. On small screens a compact layout with Trade, Risk, Accounts, and More tabs replaces the desktop workspace, so not every desktop widget is available there.
Available markets, instruments, and depth depend on your market-data entitlement and the exchange session.
