The Positions widget lists the exposure currently open on the selected account — net quantity, average entry, live mark, and unrealized P&L — and lets you protect or unwind a position from its row. The table is account-wide rather than tied to a widget symbol, so every instance reads whichever account is selected in the terminal.
Column
What it means
Opened
Time the current position record opened.
Symbol
Instrument with open exposure. Select it to open that instrument on the chart.
Qty
Signed net quantity. Positive is long; negative is short.
Entry
Average entry price for the current net position.
Mark
Latest usable market value used for the live calculation.
P&L
Direction-aware unrealized P&L based on quantity, entry, mark, tick size, and value per point.
Actions
Protection and position controls for the row.
Mark and P&L depend on current market data and instrument metadata. A — means the widget could not produce a usable value, and unrealized P&L is a calculation rather than an executable quote.
Sortable headings sort on selection and reverse on a second selection. Configure positions columns adds, removes, or reorders columns, or restores them with Load defaults, and dragging a header divider resizes adjacent columns.
TP, SL, or the P&L cell opens the position-protection editor, where you review the take-profit or stop-loss price and submit the protection. Protection buttons reflect take-profit or stop-loss orders that already exist.
Close submits a market order for the current authoritative position size, and Reverse submits enough market quantity to close the position and open the opposite side. Account-wide, Close all requests closure of every open position on the selected account, and Flatten requests both working-order cancellation and position closure.
A fully closed position leaves the table after refresh and reconciliation.
These controls submit live orders. Confirm the row and the selected account first, including whether that account is simulated, evaluation, simulated-funded, or live. Do not bypass daily loss, maximum loss, trailing drawdown, or other account rules.
Close, Reverse, Close all, and Flatten submit requests. They do not guarantee fills, prices, slippage, or completion, and a bulk action can come back reporting partial issues.

No open positions. means the account is flat, or its latest position state has not reconciled yet.
If Mark or P&L shows —, verify market data and allow instrument details to load.
Select an account first or No open position on an action means the account needs rechecking, or the authoritative position refresh has not landed yet.
