Time & Sales is the executed-trade tape for one instrument: every print with its price, size, and inferred direction, in the order it happened. It shows what traded, not what is resting — the DOM covers displayed depth — and it submits no orders.
Each row carries Time, Price, Size, Ask, and Bid. The ask and bid are the L1 snapshot captured with that print, and the bid and ask color treatment marks the inferred aggressor side, which is classification data rather than a venue-reported fact.
Selecting Time, Price, Ask, or Bid sorts ascending or descending; the default view keeps the newest print at the top. Size filters the tape by Show all, a preset minimum, or a Custom minimum.
Configure tape columns adds, removes, or reorders Time, Price, Ask, and Bid; Size always stays visible. Dragging a column divider changes its width, and Load defaults in the column dialog restores the default layout.
Scrolling away from the top pauses the tape so you can read earlier prints. The banner changes to Tape paused and counts the trades buffering behind it. Selecting the banner, or scrolling back to the top, resumes the live tape.
Each instance keeps at most 2,000 rows by default, and older rows fall off the buffer as new prints arrive.
Select \+ Add in an editable workspace.
Choose Time & Sales under Market data. Its catalog description is Live executed-trade tape.
Pick an instrument with the header symbol selector, or use the link picker to follow another widget's symbol channel.
You can add multiple tapes and link each one separately.
Waiting for trades… means the selected symbol has received no trade print. Verify the symbol and your live market-data connection.
If the tape empties after a Size change, choose Show all or lower the minimum.
If fresh prints stop arriving at the top, the tape is paused: select Tape paused or scroll to the top.
If a column is missing, open Customize tape columns and choose Load defaults.
