Selecting Buy or Sell produces a validation message or a rejection instead of a working order. Separate ticket-input problems from account status, market-data, session, trading-hours, and risk-rule causes, then decide whether a safe correction exists. If submission appeared to succeed but you cannot find the order, use the missing-activity article instead.
Preserve the exact inline message or rejection reason, the time and timezone, and the account, symbol, side, order type, quantity, and price.
Keep Order History open so you can tell a local validation failure from a server-side rejection.
Confirm whether the selected account is simulated, evaluation, simulated-funded, or live before you change the ticket.
Open Accounts, choose an account marked Active, and confirm that selected trading account again before submitting.
Verify the symbol shown in the Order Ticket. If you selected a continuous futures root, confirm it resolved to the intended dated contract.
Check the footer connection panel for both market data and Trading API.
Enter a positive Quantity. Futures require whole contracts.
For Limit or Stop, enter a positive Price aligned to the instrument's tick size.
Verify any enabled take-profit or stop-loss exit has a positive value.
If the ticket reports that the market is outside trading hours or closed, wait for an eligible session. Do not repeatedly submit the unchanged order.
Check the inline error first, then find the attempt in Order History if the request reached the order service.
Read the supplied reason for market-data entitlement, instrument policy, account status, maximum position, daily loss, maximum loss, or trailing drawdown.
Correct only factual input or selection errors. Do not disable or work around an account rule.
After a valid correction, Tradara reports Order submitted and the order appears in Open Orders while working, or in Order History once it reaches a terminal state. If it stays rejected, the reason remains available for investigation.
A request can still be rejected after client validation, and submission does not guarantee acceptance or a fill. The ticket cannot override account status, entitlements, trading hours, instrument policy, or risk rules. Acceptance in a simulated account does not mean the same order will be allowed in an evaluation or live account.
