Time & Sales is the trade tape: a running list of reported executions, newest at the top under the default sort. Where the DOM shows resting interest that may never trade, the tape shows only what actually printed, which makes it the surface to check when you need confirmation that business was done at a price.
Time uses a 24-hour local display down to seconds.
Price is the executed price.
Size is the reported execution size.
Bid and Ask show the quote values carried with the trade, so you can see the market context each print occurred in.
Aggressor classification colors both price and size: bid-side prints use the positive color, ask-side prints use the negative color, and prints the feed did not classify stay neutral. A neutral row usually means the feed supplied no classification rather than anything about the trade itself. Color says nothing about profitability.
Row arrival and price progression together give you a sense of speed — how fast prints appear and whether they are walking through prices or repeating at one. The minimum-size filter isolates larger prints, which is useful for spotting size but understates activity; clear the filter before judging total volume. Scrolling the tape pauses live following while new trades buffer, so if activity suddenly looks slow, confirm the tape is neither paused nor filtered.
Keep in mind that a burst of prints does not guarantee continuation, and that timestamp resolution and network delivery can make separate events appear simultaneous. Chart and DOM context can be compared alongside the tape, but each represents different data.
