The DOM ladder is empty, stale, or not updating, or a keyboard shortcut does not do what you expect. Start from the controls the DOM actually supports, then work down the data path from instrument to entitlement to session. Before you begin, note the selected account, symbol, exchange, contract month, and market session.
Use the labeled Quantity, Order, TIF, buy/sell, Cancel all, Flatten, and Reverse controls. Review Auto-send before you trade, and verify submitted orders in Open Orders or in your fills.
Flatten and Reverse change your exposure. Confirm the selected account before you use either one. Practice the visible controls in a simulated account before you use them on an evaluation or live account.
The current DOM does not register focused order-entry shortcut handlers. Terminal shortcut settings apply only to actions that are active in the current surface, and number keys pressed outside a supported order-entry context can select a link group instead.
Do not repeat an uncertain key to see what happens, and do not click blank price levels to test whether the ladder is live.
Confirm the exact symbol, exchange, and contract month.
Verify instrument resolution and market-depth access.
Check whether the market is in session.
Compare the quote strip. Level 1 quotes without ladder depth can indicate missing depth access, and a visible last price does not prove that current depth is arriving.
Select Recenter and return to 1× tick.
Check linked Chart and Time & Sales widgets for the same symbol to see whether they also stopped updating.
Record any staged orders and inspect Open Orders before you refresh. Refreshing the terminal does not cancel orders already working at the exchange.
With a valid identity, entitlement, session, and connection, quotes and depth resume updating and the visible controls perform their labeled actions.
Provide the contract, exchange, time and timezone, link group, entitlement status, a screenshot, any connection error, and whether Chart or Time & Sales failed at the same time. Never share your credentials.
