Every quote-driven surface in Tradara — charts, the DOM, Time & Sales, watchlists — depends on three separate things: your market-data access, the instrument you have selected, and a live connection to the feed. When prices look wrong, missing, or different from another platform, it is almost always one of those three, and each is diagnosed differently. Whichever you are checking, start from the exact account and dated contract in front of you, and note which exchange it trades on.
Level 1 supplies best bid, best ask, last trade, and basic quote updates. Level 2 supplies multiple depth levels when the product and entitlement support them. These are separate: an empty DOM can reflect access, session, instrument, or connection conditions while Level 1 quotes still arrive. Comparing chart quotes with DOM depth is the quickest way to tell a depth-only problem from a full-feed problem.
Complete the market-data profile, declaration, and agreement.
Wait for confirmation that the profile, classification, and agreement steps are complete.
Select Enable market data when Tradara offers it for an assigned account.
Professional classification requires separate approval, and completing onboarding does not guarantee every exchange or depth level.
Watch the terminal connection indicator and allow automatic retries to run. Select Reconnect when it is offered for an immediate retry. If the disconnect message reports that another session took over, close that session or continue there before reconnecting this terminal.
Work through these in order:
Confirm onboarding is complete and the exchange is covered by your entitlement.
Check connectivity and reconnect when offered.
Reselect the instrument and verify its current dated contract.
Check Trading hours to distinguish a closed market from a disconnected feed.
If you still need help, capture the account, dated symbol, exchange, time, timeframe, and the exact message before contacting Support.
Two platforms can both be correct and still disagree. Match each of these before concluding the data is wrong: the dated contract, the field you are reading (bid, ask, last, or candle), your data access, the timeframe, the session boundary, the price format, and the timestamp. Contract-roll timing and reconnect gaps can also differ between sources.
Tradara does not promise identical candles or last prices across data sources, and displayed depth can change or disappear.
