The Chart widget is the terminal's visual market view: historical bars with live updates, indicators, drawings, and optional trading overlays for one instrument. Each chart carries its own symbol, timeframe, chart type, and saved settings, so several charts in the same workspace can show unrelated markets at unrelated intervals.
The symbol control in the chart header searches for and selects an instrument. The link picker joins the chart to a symbol channel so it follows other widgets, and unlinking lets the chart hold its own symbol independently.
The timeframe label opens intervals grouped under Seconds, Minutes, Hours, and Days. Add custom interval… creates a supported custom interval, and starring an interval keeps it among your favorites. Chart type switches among the enabled bar, candle, line, area, column, high-low, and transformed views; Heikin Ashi is marked Coming soon and is not currently selectable.
Indicators browses built-in indicators, your favorites, and My scripts for saved TradaraScript studies. The drawing toolbar along the chart edge creates and manages chart drawings.
Drag or scroll to inspect another area of the series, and use Scroll to realtime to return to the live edge. Right-clicking a price opens Chart actions, which offers Reset chart view, copying the price, creating an alert, and the available trading actions for that level.
Chart settings covers Symbol, Header, Status line, Scales and lines, Canvas, Trading, Alerts, and Share. The workspace stores chart settings and the selected timeframe per chart instance, so changes stay with that chart rather than applying to every chart you have open.
A workspace can contain up to 16 charts. Chart data requires a resolved instrument and market-data entitlement for that instrument, and a denied bars request also stops the live stream until access changes.
Select \+ Add in an editable workspace.
Choose Chart under Trading. Its catalog description is Candles & indicators.
Select an instrument with the header symbol control, or join a symbol channel with the link picker.
An instructional video will be added here to illustrate how to properly utilize the Chart widget.
Loading symbol... means a symbol change is still in progress. Re-select the exact instrument if it does not complete.
If bars never arrive, confirm the instrument resolved correctly and that your account has market-data access for it.
If the series sits off-screen after panning or scaling, right-click and choose Reset chart view, or select Scroll to realtime.
If toolbar controls are missing in a narrow widget, open More chart controls.
