The Order Ticket is the terminal's form-based order entry: it stages and submits an order for the instrument linked to that widget, with controls for attached exits, time in force, and the exposure already open in the selected account. Unlike the DOM, nothing here submits from a price click — you build the order in fields and then choose Buy or Sell.
The ticket takes an order type of Market, Limit, or Stop. Limit and stop orders need a Price, which you can type or fill from the live-price hint. Quantity accepts direct entry, the minus and plus controls, or one of your saved quantity presets. Time in force offers GTC, Day, IOC, and FOK.
Submitting reports that Tradara sent a single order or an order group. That message confirms submission, not a fill.
Exits expands to enable a take-profit, a stop-loss, or both, attached to the order you are about to send. Review every exit value before submitting, since attached exits stay subject to market data, tick rules, account rules, venue acceptance, and execution conditions.
Order info expands to show tick size, tick value, and value per point for the linked instrument.
The Position section can show Breakeven, Cancel Orders, Close Position, Reverse Position, Flatten All, and Cancel All. Controls are disabled when the selected instrument or account has no applicable position or working order.
Reverse Position submits enough market quantity to close the current position and open the opposite side. Flatten All requests cancellation of all working orders and closure of all positions for the account. Neither guarantees fills, prices, or slippage.
Confirm the selected account before Buy, Sell, Close Position, Reverse Position, Flatten All, or Cancel All. A simulated or practice account is different from an evaluation, simulated-funded, or live account, and each can carry different rules and consequences. Do not disable or work around daily loss, maximum loss, or trailing drawdown rules.
Re-check the account, instrument, side, quantity, order type, price, exits, and time in force as a set — a correct quantity on the wrong account is still the wrong order. Multiple Order Ticket instances are supported, so verify which symbol and link channel the ticket in front of you is using.
Select \+ Add in an editable workspace.
Choose Order Ticket under Trading. Its card description is Market, limit & brackets.
Set the instrument and link channel in the widget header, then confirm the selected trading account.
An instructional video will be added here to illustrate how to properly utilize the Order Ticket widget.
If Tradara says no instrument is selected, choose a symbol in the widget header and verify the link channel.
If it says no account is selected, choose the intended account before retrying.
If trading requires market data, resolve your market-data access for that instrument. Do not submit from a stale or blank quote.
If quantity, price, or an exit is invalid, correct the field named in the error. A futures quantity must be a positive whole number.
The advanced-order menu displays disabled options that are not currently available.
